So This is Love

Bedtime is one of my favorite times of the day...and not for reasons you may be thinking. I love that it is the one time of day you both decide it's time to snuggle. I love the quiet time we get, singing to you before laying you in your cribs. Nothing else in the world matters at bedtime. Everything else stops and it's just the four of us.

Last night I was singing, "So This is Love," from Cinderella while rocking you both. I began to tear up as I sang, "so this is the miracle, that I've been dreaming of; so this is love." I was so overcome with emotion realizing yes, you both are my miracles that I dreamt of! In that moment, I instantly began thanking God for all we have in our lives. I am so happy and so blessed for all we have. This life of ours...this is love!

Snowcation pt 2

Well, apparently my snow dances were working...it's just they all worked at once!! After a week off of school, we went back for another week and two days...until the next snow storm hit! This time, it was another three days off. This is getting dangerous; I'm getting very comfortable and used to all these days off. Guess we'll be celebrating the 4th of July in school this summer.
